Adnan Zaheer is Acting Manager for the Instrumentation and Controls team at Vista Projects. Adnan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Master’s degree in Computer Science. Adnan is an active member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Adnan has over 25 years of professional experience out of which 18 years were with Canadian oil sands development projects and as a maintenance/ reliability expert in extraction units, SAGD Plants and refineries.
Adnan has a strong technical background in instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems based on years of designing and operating these assets at various sites in the oil sands. Adnan has also spent time coaching and mentoring young graduates in an effort to pass his experience and skill set to the next generation of engineers, technologists and trades.
