Job Location 

This is an office-based position at our headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Sales Executive may be asked to travel within North America from time to time (though minimal travel is expected). 

What You Would Do 

We are looking for an ambitious, polished, and adaptable individual with a proven track record of business development and customer satisfaction. You are an initiator, a fact-finder, and a closer! You can connect with professionals at all levels and across multi-platforms. You are entrepreneurial and tech-savvy. Specifically, here are the main duties and competencies of the role: 

Main Duties 

  • Identify, qualify, develop, and close opportunities across North America (and beyond) 
  • Effectively manage a range of opportunities to support the achievement of sales objectives 
  • Lead presentations and demonstrations to key client stakeholders, ranging from end users to C-Suite 
  • Work closely with Implementation Specialists to design custom implementation and integration plans 
  • Ensure accurate Company/Customer information in CRM 
  • Track sales activities in CRM 
  • Negotiate commercial terms 
  • Manage renewals of existing customers 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Development, Marketing, and Support colleagues 
  • Support management in refining sales processes and procedures 
  • Exceed revenue growth targets and drive customer satisfaction 

Required 

  • 5-10 years of B2B sales experience 
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding quotas  
  • Post-secondary education (BBA or BComm preferable) 
  • Tech-savviness and willingness to embrace change in a rapidly evolving business 
  • Ability to work closely with prospective clients to gain a deep understanding of their business challenges 
  • Demonstrated experience in solution selling 
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills 
  • Strong presentation skills (to design and deliver effective presentations and/or demos to various stakeholders) 
  • Willingness to embrace change in a rapidly evolving business 
  • Ability to thrive within a team-driven environment 
  • Ability to work autonomously 
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the United States  

Preferred Experience 

  • SaaS sales experience 
  • Experience working in, or selling to project-based organizations (EPC, Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction, Contract Manufacturing, etc.) 
  • Experience working within HubSpot
